We have learned quite a lot over the last few days. TweetChat has an amazing and thriving community that we want to continue to empower.
We are excited to announce that over the weekend our team decided to restore TweetChat’s functionality to work in compliance with the new Twitter API changes that go into effect today.
Our initial announcement about the acquisition of TweetChat.com introduced many new users to SmartStream, which is an advanced tweet chat application in the oneQube platform, as a replacement for TweetChat. After a week of feedback, TweetChat fans rang out loud and clear – they wanted TweetChat to continue to offer the same type of streamlined approach to the existingTwitter chat experience.
Fans of SmartStream don’t have to worry – all the advanced usability will remain. But in the next few days, TweetChat will re-emerge as a part of the oneQube social media management platform.
Additionally, we are enhancing TweetChat into a full-blown community where we can collaborate and grow. Our plan will enable community managers to list their tweet chats in a calendar, guest blog on the site about their chats, publish data and more. So, stay tuned and thank you for your patience as we transition this twitter chat favorite into its new (yet very similar) form!
